Growth for Coonawarra

New winery Whistle Post Wines has found the right approach to success, nestled in the Coonawarra region of South Australia. The name finds its origins from a whistle post on the railway line adjacent to the property, also adorns the bottle label.

After being rejected for its grapes, they persisted with their product and trialled with esteemed Australian wine critic James Halliday - their confidence paid off, awarded 95 points. From there, large supermarket contracts were signed, export markets opened, and the family is soon to open its first cellar door.
