Three SA vineyards feature in world's Top 50

The stunning vineyards of Penfolds, d'Arenberg and Seppeltsfield are dazzling in the global spotlight after being featured in the World Best Vineyards Top 50 list for 2019.

The World's Best Vineyards list aims to raise the profile of wine tourism and encourage visitors from all over the world to explore the world's best wineries and vineyards.

Penfolds Magill Estate came in at number 13, with d'Arenberg coming in at number 29 and Seppeltsfield Barossa at number 47. In total, 17 countries were represented.

Fellow Great Wine Capital Argentina took out the number one spot for its Zuccardi Valle de Uco vineyard.

Penfolds, d'Arenberg and Seppeltsfield also share the common theme of having been awarded International Best of Wine Tourism Awards through the Great Wine Capitals Global Network.

The World's Best Vineyards list reflects the diversity of the world's wine landscape.

The 2019 list provides a snapshot of the best destinations for unique wine tourism experiences, in addition to being a barometer for global wine tourism trends.
